Republic Day of India:-If you are an India then you might be aware of Republic Day of India.But why exactly is this day celebrated ?

Republic Day of India is a day on which the Constitution of Indian came in to forces i.e after replacing the Government of India Act 1935 the Indian Constitution of India was brought in to forces on 26 January 1950(India got independence on 15 August 1947).Before that it was under the Government of India Act 1935 made by British George VI.So after the Independence of the India,Indian constitution was brought in to application on 26th January.

From that very day India is celebration this honorable day every year with a National Parade on Rajpath,New Delhi(Capital of India) with Indian President honoring the Parade.Parade comprises of different exhibits,dance programs,dramatic programs etc performed by School children from different schools different parts of the country.

Indian President after unfurls the Indian National flag.After the flag ceremony National Anthem plays and 21 gun salute is provided.President also honors the Army men and civilians with Ashok Chakra and Kirti Chakra awards.

From 1950 India is inviting a special guest on the Republic day,a guest from the constitution of other countries.This year they have invited first Woman PM of Thialand Ms.Yingluck Shinawatra.
